    The Sports Leadership Project 4.0 is a continued professional development, 'executive' level, programme tailored to role, organisation and sector.

    'alt' is an alternative to traditional classroom based and virtual online education and development programmes. It's designed as a transformational learning experience, combining blended learning, practice based skill application and specialised expert input from professionals.

     

    The design best suits individuals who can leverage their experience in sports and are hungry to continue developing their leadership role through practice (role, game or sector).


    Sports is shifting from pre-digital age '3.0' skills to digital age '4.0’ skills. In the next
    decade your leadership effectiveness will be measured by skillsets highlighted by
    The World Economic Forum and Chartered Management Institute. SLP 4.0 helps
    you prepare/shift mindset for the ‘digital age’ of sports.

    SLP 4.0 has been designed as a 'flipped classroom' and blended learning experience. It combines asynchronous and synchronous learning to increase your learning, development, practice and embedding.

     

    - Asynchronous Learning: These activities you will be expected to complete independently and on your own time. Activities include core learning topics, required reading, leadership assessments, short practice-based assignments, skill development and assessment preparation.
     

    - Synchronous Learning: These activities will be live virtual/onsite for practice-based learning, live case studies, problem solving, peer learning, Q&A and expert input.

    Format

    1. Live Sessions (synchronous/asynchronous): An extension of the traditional 'classroom experience' connect live to engage in a group discussion about the topic determined for that day, regardless of despite being seated in different locations/internationally.
       
    2. Online Collaborative Sessions (synchronous/asynchronous):  Well-structured, facilitated small peer group sessions. Engage in small group with other participants in practice-based learning, live case studies, problem solving, peer learning, Q&A and expert input.
       
    3. Online Discussions (asynchronous): These forums support 'Buddy Sessions' and also offer the possibility to connect to other group participants for discussion, Q&A and learning.
       
    4. Live 1:1 Face-To-Face (synchronous): individual Q&A time with an expert to answer questions.
